Description

RikMisr is available in 4 thicknesses to suit wide range of wear traffic conditions, typical applications include housing, schools, offices, hospitals, supermarkets, factories, and ware houses.



Composition & Manufacture

Manufactured from PVC, plasticizers, stabilizers, pigments, reinforced by special quartz fillers, tiles are factory finished with a metallised floor dressing to minimize dirt retention.

Rik tiles confirm to Bs 3261:1973 type B.

Flexibility

No signs of breaking, cracking or failure, when tested to Bs 3261 B.



Strength

Suitable for applications involving extremely heavy impact wear, good resistance to indentation when adhered to good sub-floors, D/10 hardness teat grade 68.



Wear and abrasion

Excellent abrasion resistance due to quartz reinforcement anticipated life under normal condition 25 years.



Frictional resistance

Good non-slip properties under normal conditions of use.



Effect of fire

Class 1 surface spread of flame to Bs 476: Part 7:1971.

Self extinguishing, cigarette burn surface marks may be removed with fine wool.



Effect of chemicals

Resistance to concentrated acids and alkalis, fats, oils, and strong detergents, liable to be attacked by chlorinated and aromatic solvents, esters and ketons.

Installations

Can be laid on almost any sub floor provided that it's smooth level and dry, essential to use correct adhesive and laying technique, please referee to separate Rikett adhesive and laying instructions.



Maintenance

Careful maintenance will improve the appearance and durability of all floors, Rikett tiles are factory finish with a special metallised polish, daily maintenance using diluted mild detergent in warm water and occasional polishing using a martallised floor dressing is recommended, strong stripping agents harsh abrasive organic solvents should not be used.
